Washington DC – 25th Dynamic City in 2025

Seventy five cities will be responsible for 40% of world GDP in 2025. Cities will be the economic engines of the future with most of the growth taking place in Asia, China specifically.
The West will not be totally eclipsed in 2025. Some 13 US cities still make the top 75 list with only 3 in Europe; the center of gravity is clearly South and East. Washington DC area will have a projected population of 6.6 million people and a regional economy of almost $ 600 billion, representing 53% growth between 2010-2025 (more than 4% per year).
